Trident are supporting a Birmingham-based charity SIFA Fireside who’re focused on helping the homeless in our local city. At Trident, we are painfully aware of the plight of the homeless and wanted to do something to try and help.
SIFA Fireside are based in Digbeth and offer a drop in centre – a warm and friendly environment that provides food, shelter, showers, clothing and sleeping bags. Life’s basic needs. On an average day, they can see up to 160 people.
The charity also offers assistance with housing, health checks, counselling and so many other important services. You can find out all about the SIFA Fireside charity here.
We’re reaching out to our Trident network of contact within the meetings and hospitality industry to help support the charity’s fantastic work through donations. These do not need to be financial (although of course financial donations are always gratefully received), but more donations of items that can be used by visitors.
If you’re able to provide any of the following items for SIFA Fireside during your next meeting with Trident, we can then pass these on to the charity…
Toiletries (any hotel miniatures are always great):
- Shower gel
- Shaving foam
- Face wipes and tissues
Clothing (in particular the following):
- Men’s boxers
- Men’s socks
- Men’s t-shirts
- Jogging bottoms and small hoodies
- Trainers sizes 8-12
- Tinned vegetables

If you are able to make a donation, please do get in touch. Kevan is always out and about around the country, if he is visiting you, please do donate a couple of items, every little helps!
