The Birmingham Repertory Theatre was delighted to welcome over 600 fellow arts professionals to the venue for the annual Arts Marketing Association conference last week.
The Arts Marketing Association (AMA), is a professional development organisation that provides a wealth of information, knowledge, and opportunities to share best practice and innovations for its membership base of marketers from the arts, culture and heritage sectors.
During the two day conference, entitled ‘Stay Curious’, 625 arts professionals from across the country were inspired by keynote speakers from the UK, Australia and the USA, and seminars facilitated by well respected arts industry experts. The REP’s entire space, including its three auditoria, conference suites, foyer and mezzanine level, were utilised to provide the perfect setting for cultural sharing, debate, learning and networking.
Delegates thoroughly enjoyed their time at The REP and the organisers were very pleased with the smooth running of the event.
“It was one of our best conferences yet,” Danielle Patrick, Events Manager from the AMA said.
“It’ll definitely be difficult to top! All of the spaces used were completely fit for purpose; they created an excellent atmosphere and learning environment for our conference.”
