We recently ran a fabulous trip to the delightful city of Cambridge with five agents and partners who all enjoyed the sunshine – part of the package with Trident!
Starting on the Friday evening at Robinson College, we all enjoyed a refreshing glass or two of something fizzy in the garden before a fresh picnic to help nourish after a busy week at work. The group were then treated to an outdoor performance of ‘Pericles’ which on a balmy evening was extremely pleasant. Guests were then free to have a few more drinks in the college bar before retiring or heading into town to discover the evening delights of the city.
After breakfast, Paul Coleman, Business Development Manager at Robinson College, showed the guests around the facilities at Robinson College which are ideal for meetings and events before they had some free time to discover the sights and sounds of Cambridge.
Later in the afternoon, we went on a very interesting tour of the city where we learnt all about the many world renown landmarks and people who have lived in the area.
Following a short taxi ride, the Saturday evening saw us visit Madingley Court located just outside the city and set in beautiful countryside. After relaxing drinks, the group got stuck in to playing giant ‘Jenga’ or chose to refuel with a marvelous BBQ. This carried on until dusk when we all settled to watch the giant outdoor screen to start showing James Bond, Spectre!
Guests then returned to Robinson College where they either rested their weary heads or headed out again for the ‘bright lights.’ On the Sunday morning we were all treated to another hearty breakfast, before guests headed back into the sunshine to enjoy the busy city before heading off home.
“It was a lovely weekend!” Karen Benson, Trinity Event Solutions said. “It has also opened up possibilities for putting forward both Robinson College and Madingley Hall.”
“This was a fabulous weekend, we had some great people join us and our venues Robinson College and Madingley Hall looked after our visitors extremely well, showing what Cambridge has to offer as a destination for meetings and events.” Martin Dempster, Trident Hospitality Consultants, said.
