Trident’s partner venue and leading sporting and events venue BT Murrayfield has been named best ‘Specialist Entertainment Venue’ at the Edinburgh edition of the Best Bar None awards. Having already received gold accreditation, the ‘best-in-category’ accolade was presented to bar and retail manager, Michael Anthony and general manager of Scottish Rugby Hospitality, Avneesh Sinha, in a recent glittering ceremony at The City Arts Centre, Edinburgh.
The prestigious industry accreditation and award scheme was created in 2005 to raise standards and reward licensed premises which have undertaken positive management practices in support of a safe and exciting night out. Built around five key licensing objectives with a focus on customer care, the awards now have participating premises in 58 towns and cities across Scotland.
Speaking of the win, Michael says, “The entire team at Scottish Rugby Hospitality are extremely proud to be members of Best Bar None and to have won both a gold award and best in category at the Local Best Bar None Scheme 2017/2018. The award recognises our long-term commitment to providing the best catering experience to our customers as we continue to host a variety of diverse events.”
Situated in the heart of Edinburgh, BT Murrayfield offers an assorted range of flexible spaces with the ability to host both intimate functions and large-scale events.
